Rotary of Poipu Beach Hosts Movie in the Park

On Thursday, July 25th at sunset head to Poipu Beach Park for the Rotary Club of Poipu’s traditional free summer event Movies in the Park, featuring a special screening to be announced.

This screening during Koloa Plantation Days marks kickoff of the Kauai Lifeguard Association fundraising campaign to provide funding for the many water safety and educational programs they support. The Poipu Rotary will also be soliciting donations for the KLA Ohana of programs. All donors will be entered in a lucky drawing for a grand prize to be announced at the KLA Second Wave Hawaiian Superstar event in October. This year’s grand prize includes four round trip tickets to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies along with $2000 spending money.
The public is invited to attend the movie as part of the Koloa Plantation Days, free of charge, at Poipu Beach Park. Come early to find a spot, bring your beach chair or blanket to this family event. Film will start after dark, at approximately 8:00pm. For your convenience, Koloa School will be offering food concessions to help support their after school programs.
