Family Movie Night
Hosted by Koloa Missionary Church
Families are invited to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs to an outdoor family movie, appropriate for children. Admission is open and free to the public. Popcorn, shaved ice and other treats will be available. Donations are encouraged as they will be used to support the church's youth group activities. The Koloa Missionary Church was founded in 1953. The sanctuary was originally a part of the homestead once owned by Dr. James W. Smith, a medical missionary. In 1842, he began a practice of 40 years, later becoming an ordained minister at The Church at Koloa. His grandson, Dr. Alfred Herbert Waterhouse, added a clinic to the homestead in 1933. ![]() |
